Yin Yoga Training & Immersion
with Naomi Jones, ERYT 500
December 4–6 | Friday 6:30–8:30pm, Saturday & Sunday 9:30am–5:00pm | $333 | Max 10 students
You've held a hundred final savasanas. So why does teaching Yin still feel like guesswork?
Yin isn't just a slower version of the class you already teach. It asks you to actually understand what's happening under the posture, in the fascia and the energy body, not just hold space while the timer runs. A one-day workshop skims that. This weekend doesn't.
Over three days with Naomi Jones, ERYT 500, you'll learn to actually teach Yin: how to sequence a real therapeutic class and cue it without laying a hand on anyone. You'll also learn to read the quiet cues that tell you who needs more support before they ask for it. We cap it at 10 students, so the feedback you get on your own teaching is real, not a seat in a crowded room.
You'll cover:
The history of Yin yoga
A full breakdown of the 10 to 15 most common Yin postures
Pranayama and breathwork built for Yin classes
The energy body: chakras, koshas, vayus, mudras, and breath
The mind/body relationship, and how stillness opens the subconscious and unconscious mind
Sequencing a full Yin class
Hands-off cueing and options
Mantra, sensory layers, and other ways to shape the feel of a class
In-depth use of props
Practice teaching a full Yin class, with feedback from faculty
You'll leave with:
Advanced sequencing skills and the ability to build a therapeutic Yin class from scratch
A clear plan for bringing Yin into your business, your studio, or your own home practice
The ability to spot, quickly, which students need support just by watching their bodies
A stronger seat as a teacher, so you can lead with skill and real compassion
Deeper understanding of Yin in your own body, built from staff corrections and guided practice, so you walk out confident holding space for others
This isn't a weekend of lying back and absorbing it by osmosis. You'll practice teaching in front of faculty and leave able to actually hold a Yin class, not just attend one.
Max 10 students.
