We moments we say “yes” to.

This weekend felt like a reminder.

We gathered for Yoga Teacher Training. We sat together for a Cacao Ceremony. We hosted our Greece Retreat Question and Answer session.

Each space held something different, but the thread was the same: connection.

At the cacao ceremony, Rachael walked us through the story of a small plant. How it becomes a drink. How that drink connects us to the earth, to culture, to ritual, to each other. It wasn't just informative. It was grounding. Healing. A reminder that we're meant to live with more purpose, more presence, more connection.

That's what happens when people gather with intention.

February is almost over, but the year still feels like it's just beginning. And if this weekend showed us anything, it's that the moments we say yes to—the evenings we show up, the conversations we lean into—shape how the rest of the year unfolds.

There are more opportunities like this coming. Beautiful, thoughtful offerings created with so much care by Caria and Rachael. We hope you'll step into one if you can.

And if you're curious about Greece, watch the Q&A video. When Clan shared more about what we'll be doing, something shifted for us. We were excited before. Now we feel called. Watch it and see if you feel it too.

✈️ Greece Retreat: Watch the Question and Answer Session

This week, instead of answering one question, I'm sharing the full video from our Q&A session.

It's worth watching. You'll hear Clan walk through what we'll actually be doing on the island, what the rhythm of each day looks like, and why this retreat is designed the way it is. Something about hearing it all together just lands differently.

🧘 Yoga Teacher Training: Understanding the Body

This weekend in Teacher Training, we moved beyond memorizing poses and into understanding how the body actually works.

We studied how fascia connects the entire system. How tension in one place shows up somewhere else. How the body organizes around safety, and what that means when you're teaching real people with real histories.

Throughout the weekend, we used Yoga Tune Up® Balls so the teachers could feel these concepts in their own bodies. Rolling work gave them direct experience of how tissue responds, where tension lives, and how small, intentional input can shift the whole system. It's one thing to learn about the body in a lecture. It's another to feel it change under your own hands.

We closed the day with Yoga Nidra to experience the other half of regulation: how organized effort must resolve into organized rest.

This is what teacher training should be. Not just learning sequences. Learning why bodies respond the way they do—so you can teach with confidence, clarity, and care.

See you on the mat,
Nicole and Teresa
