Take what you need. Leave with more of yourself.
This week’s email is a day late. I’ve been unexpectedly navigating migraines this year, and this one slowed me down.
Working on this weekly email is something I genuinely look forward to. I love sharing what our teachers are creating—they’re such a thoughtful, creative group, and there is always more unfolding beyond their weekly classes.
I also love keeping you updated on teacher training and answering questions about the Greece retreat. Recently, we learned that some people thought the retreat meant attending every single class, meal, and outing.
Cue the Monty Python version of us waking everyone at dawn for compulsory yoga and a brisk, military-style mountain hike. Definitely not the vibe.
In our excitement about offering a truly all-inclusive, transparent 5-star retreat experience, we didn’t realize how it might land. We’re so grateful for the questions—they help us communicate better.
As I navigate these new migraines (usually they were allergy-triggered once or twice a year—this feels different), I’m leaning on my tools, asking for help, practicing patience.
Mostly, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the kindness around me: hugs, homemade pasta, funny stories, prayers, home remedies—and yes, even tea that tastes like bark.
Thank you for being part of this community.
💫 City Sangha: A Collective Meditation Recap
Last week’s shared meditation across the Treasure Valley was such a beautiful moment.
Being part of something bigger—sitting in stillness alongside other studios from Boise to McCall—was a powerful reminder that collective energy is real, and it moves through all of us.
Thanks to all who came. We can’t wait to do more like this.
Here’s what’s happening now:
🎉 Teresa Joins the Board of the Nampa BID
We’re thrilled to share that Teresa was just voted onto the Board of Directors for the Nampa Business Improvement District (BID)!
The BID plays a key role in enhancing the vitality of Downtown Nampa—supporting local businesses, improving shared spaces, and investing in events, beautification, and community connection.
As a board member, Teresa will be working alongside other local leaders to help shape the future of downtown—making it even more welcoming, thriving, and community-centered.
We’re so proud of her and excited to keep showing up for our city in all the ways that matter.

🌀 Yoga Teacher Training: Why We Use the Yoga Tune Up® Balls
In our training, we don’t just talk about anatomy—we help you feel it.
The Yoga Tune Up® Balls are a core part of how we teach. They help you locate, release, and map tension in real time, so concepts like fascia, breath, and proprioception aren’t just theoretical—they’re lived.
These tools also help our students:
Understand how sensation works in different tissues
Develop cueing that’s grounded in direct experience
Learn how to support nervous system regulation through self-massage
Build trust in their own body—so they can help others do the same
Whether you're teaching or simply learning to care for yourself better, these practices are foundational to how we create sustainable, inclusive yoga.
🌟 Would you leave us a review?

When you leave one, it helps someone new find us—and feel safe enough to walk through the door.
We’d be so grateful. And honestly, what a perfect birthday gift.
